GenSci098 (YB-101) in Graves’ Disease
A first-in-human Phase 1 study of GenSci098, an investigational therapy for adults with Graves’ disease.
About This Study
What is being studied?
This Phase 1 study evaluates GenSci098 (also known as YB-101) in adults with Graves’ disease. It is a single-ascending-dose study: participants receive one subcutaneous dose at one of several escalating dose levels. The primary goal is to assess safety and tolerability through 141 days after dosing.
What stage of research is this?
This is an early, first-in-human investigation. Studies at this stage focus on how the body responds to and processes a new agent — safety, tolerability, and pharmacology — rather than on proving effectiveness. Participants are monitored closely throughout.
Eligibility Criteria
Who can participate?
Eligibility is confirmed at a screening visit. The summary below covers the main criteria; our research team reviews the full list with you.
Key Inclusion Criteria
• Adults with a diagnosis of Graves’ disease
• Willing and able to complete the dosing and follow-up schedule
• Adults with a diagnosis of Graves’ disease
• Willing and able to complete the dosing and follow-up schedule
Key Considerations
• Full eligibility, including thyroid status and concurrent medications, is reviewed individually at screening
• This is a single-dose study with an extended monitoring period

What Participation Involves
What can I expect?
Participants receive a single subcutaneous dose of the study drug and are then followed for approximately 141 days. Visits include safety assessments and blood draws to characterize how the medication behaves and how the body responds. Because this is an early-phase study, monitoring is thorough and scheduled at regular intervals.
