Biography

Dr. Uzoma U. Mba is a board-certified endocrinologist who joined Diabetes & Endocrine Specialists after completing fellowship training at Scripps Clinic. She completed her MD and PhD at Virginia Commonwealth University and the Scripps Research Institute, where her doctoral research focused on the molecular biology of cancer and transplant immunology.

Her clinical practice encompasses the full range of endocrine disorders, with particular interest in thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and adrenal conditions. She approaches each patient with thoroughness and a commitment to translating complex endocrine physiology into practical, actionable guidance.

Dr. Mba has co-authored publications in peer-reviewed journals including Molecular Cancer Research, the American Journal of Transplantation, and the Journal of Neurochemistry. She has presented her work at the Endocrine Society Annual Meeting and remains active in the clinical research mission of the practice.
