We are now offering Qutenza<\/strong> (capsaicin 8% topical) for painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy at both of our locations.<\/p>\n

Painful diabetic neuropathy \u2014 burning, tingling, or shooting pain in the feet \u2014 is one of the most difficult complications of diabetes to treat. Many patients are left relying on oral medications that can cause drowsiness, dizziness, or other side effects, and that do not always provide adequate relief.<\/p>\n

Qutenza is a prescription topical treatment applied in the office to the affected areas. A single application can provide relief from nerve pain that lasts for months, and because it works locally on the skin\u2019s pain-signaling nerves, it avoids the systemic side effects associated with many oral neuropathy medications.
